Glennon Guild continues tradition of helping kids with their 36th annual fashion show, boutique and luncheon

ST. LOUIS (Sept. 26, 2014) – The Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation and the Glennon Guild proudly present the 36th Annual Fashion Show, Boutique and Luncheon. The event, presented by Fifth Third Bank, will be held Friday, October 17 at St. Louis Union Station, a new location for the annual fundraiser.

Through the generosity of Jiggs Dunn and Berkshire Hathaway Alliance Real Estate, this year’s event will honor the memory of Tina Niemann, a Guild member and past president from 1977-1979. Tina and her husband Jack were long time supporters of the mission of SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center through their work with the Glennon Guild and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation.

“We are thrilled to honor the memory of Tina Neimann at this year’s fashion show, ” said Dunn. “Her longtime dedication to the children and mission of Cardinal Glennon is sure to be felt throughout the event. What a perfect way to celebrate her many years of hard work and service to helping sick and injured kids.”

The fashion show, presented by Fifth Third Bank, will begin with a boutique opening at 10 a.m., followed by the luncheon and fashion show at 11:45 a.m. The $75 ticket price includes free parking and may be purchased online at glennon.org/fashionshow. All proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at SSM Cardinal Glennon.

Glennon Cards will be available for purchase the day of the show, allowing shoppers to receive a 20 percent discount on all boutique items on display and at 300 merchants during Glennon Card shopping days, Oct. 24 – Nov. 2. To purchase a card visit GlennonCard.org.

The Glennon Guild is a 300 member women’s organization founded to support the interests and growth of SSM Cardinal Glennon and the many children they serve.
