ST. LOUIS (May 11, 2016) –SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation announced today that the Development Board, made up of young professional volunteers, will host the annual Scoops of Fun event on Saturday, May 21 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The Magic House in Kirkwood. Families in attendance will enjoy access to unlimited ice cream and treats from a variety of local vendors and the chance to explore The Magic House while it is closed to the public.
By combining the joy of an ice cream and treat social with the excitement of a celebrated children’s museum, Scoops of Fun provides an ideal Saturday evening destination for kids of all ages. Crafts, face painting and other children’s activities also will be offered.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the STARS Program at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, which trains local ambulance districts, fire districts and community hospitals on how to appropriately respond to children with special medical needs.
